Ski challenge 2019 registration#

Older racers are asked to leave their fan section at home or in the car. U18 and younger skiers are encouraged to only have 1 adult/skier. We discourage spectators and extra personnel from attending the event, but we know that some of the athletes will require adult assistance. If any athlete, coach, or parent becomes symptomatic during the weekend, they must quarantine, along with their travel companions, immediately and notify the race secretary.ДЄll persons at the venue must comply with the COVID-19 plan вЂ“ whether a coach, athlete, parent, staff, volunteer, or spectator.

Please maintain physical distancing of at least 6ft at all times.All coaches, assistants and volunteers must wear a mask at all times.Masks may be removed once on course, but please carry with you for emergency situations and the finish area.Masks are required in the Start and Finish Venues.Those not adhering to these requirements will be asked to leave. If a skier requires additional assistance which requires an individual to be present at the venue, that individual is required to complete the screening, sign in each day, wear a mask at all times, and stand in designated areas. While we discourage spectators, we understand that there are some necessary exceptions. Without a valid wristband, a skier, coach, official, or volunteer will not have access to the ski trails and related facilities. Each individual will receive a wristband that is to be worn at all times at the facility. Everyone should take their temperature before arriving and be ready to report the results. Upon arrival, individuals will be directed to the race secretary building to complete a symptom checklist.

Registered athletes will be signed up for the e-screenings through their race registration and do not need to complete this separate e-screening registration. Everyone must complete a COVID-19 e-screening before arriving at the venue. Please register ahead of time to receive the COVID-19 e-screening which must be completed prior to arriving at the venue. Responses must be received each day before you arrive at the venue. Ski & Snowboard COVID-19 Cross Country Ski Domestic Competitions Guidance As such, the event will follow protocols outlined by national, state, and local health officials, as well as in conjunction with rules set forth by the national and regional ski governing bodies. This does not include flights or equipment hire.This event will take place in the lingering shadow of COVID-19. This includes entry into the Business Challenge, 3 nights half board accommodation at the 4 star Silvretta Parkhotel, transfers to/from Zurich airport, ski passes & winter sports holiday insurance (UK residents only). Teams are made up of 4 but you may enter as an individual and we will complete the team. To take part you only need to be an intermediate skier (and above!) It is an excellent opportunity for networking, team work and personal development.

It is a time for potential employers to find out more about veterans needs. There is a Marathon and Slalom race with both Corporate and Veteran teams competing. If you would like the charity to bring one of their inspirational veterans to talk to you about the challenge, then please get in contact and we can arrange this. You do not have to be of Olympic standard to take part. The challenge ensures able bodied and disabled skiers compete to equal terms. It is a fun ski racing event, composed of a ski marathon & a Giant Slalom event across the 2 days.
